Innovative sanitation science and technology for developing country settings: web-based knowledge sharing and management

In our role as working group 1 (capacity development) lead of SuSanA (Sustainable Sanitation Alliance) we are one of the community moderators of the SuSanA discussion forum. This online platform allows experts, practitioners in developing countries and sanitation enthusiasts from all over the world to discuss their experiences, problems as well as successes in a convenient way and to learn from each others. seecon also assists together with the team from the Stockholm Environmental Institute (SEI) grantees and scientists, which are supported financially from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), to showcase their innovation in sanitation science and technology to a large public in order to allow for knowledge and experiences exchange with a wider sanitation community and to engage in an open discussion on the outcomes of the foundation’s WASH grants.
