cewas is the international training centre for Start-Ups in the water and sanitation sector. During the training programme, the entrepreneurs-to-be are trained and supported by cewas to design products and services contributing to the sustainable use of water resources and to the solution of sanitation problems. cewas combines appropriate training for the development of Start-Up businesses in the water management sector with support, consulting, guidance and applied work in concrete pilot projects. The cewas Start-Up programme, initiated and managed by seecon is unique, as it combines thematic course modules in the training centre and personal guidance of the start-ups by renowned water experts. The experts do not only provide their knowledge and expertise from science and practice; but they are also empha-sizing the strategic and market-oriented development of the start-up business ideas. This allows the international SMEs to benefit from Swiss technical and science standards and to act quickly in target countries.
