Littering is one of the most pressing problems in public places, which attracts considerable attention amongst the general public and is intensively debated in politics.Solving this social phenomenon is a difficult task that requires a differentiated approach. With the support of the Federal Office for the Environment, cantonal environmental departments, municipalities and business stakeholders, seecon published the Littering Manual. It gives practical advice to municipalities, schools and also private parties on the development and implementation of anti-littering measures to suit their specific situation. This manual is regarded as the comprehensive reference work on the littering problem in Switzerland.
